How to plant a garden in the snow..... and know when your garlic is ready to harvest

By Roger Doiron and family.

Thanks Roger, I love them!

And, if any readers were wondering, son Alex did get home. His plane left Heathrow on time, with him on it. Just plain lucky and oh so grateful.

Lets see - I have about a foot of snow on the garden - I wonder if thats enough to root the canes? Hm, I may have another problem - my local fuzzy tail squirrels have a sweet tooth. Oh well - spring is just around the corner and that garlic looks interesting. I wonder if raccoons like garlic? ;)
ATB! (And a Very Merry Christmas to you).
