Just been catching up with your blog as i...Hi Kate,
Just been catching up with your blog as its raining again and I've just finished another basket!
About time we had a new meaning for the boring organic...ie replacing product A with ptoduct 'organic' Deep organic may be the way to go but don't forget the biodynamic method is all that and more. 'Agriculture' the book that forms the basics of biodynamic agriculture is basically about nutrition. Rudolf Steiner mentions how the food of today (1924) does not sustain our thoughts so imagine how bad it must be by now!
The other main point is that biodynamic methods came out of the failure of organic agriculture. The farmers using organic method noticed a decline in both crop and animal health and approached Rudolf Steiner to help them .... so the biodynamic method was born.
I'll get down off my soap box now and go check the home fires and bring in some wood.
cheers DebDeborah Cantrillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02275168221427788700noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7500250914284715491.post-79918486127046940842012-06-15T08:46:46.904+10:002012-06-15T08:46:46.904+10:00Great information Kate - I will re-post it on my b...Great information Kate - I will re-post it on my blog.
